Parent Volunteer Gift *FREEBIE*

Summer has officially arrived, but I wanted to post about my cute parent volunteer gifts that I sent home this year! I always struggle with these gifts because 1. Time is LIMITED and life is CRAZY during the last week of school and 2. I want them to be useful, memorable, and CUTE!

This year my teammate and I thought of a cute idea.  Here's the result!

The tag says, "How sweet it is... to have a volunteer like YOU!"

What I did:

I bought these ice cream bowls from Pier One Imports.  They had two kinds.  I bought the shorter, wider ones...
... so the kids could sign the bottom:
Students signed the bottom with a permanent marker.

Inside the bowl, I molded tissue paper to look like a scoop or ice cream.  Then, I taped a gift card from Cold Stone Creamery to the tissue paper.

I bought plastic tissue paper and ribbon from Party City.  I printed these cute little tags:

You can grab those here. I printed them on card stock so they were sturdier than plain printer paper.

They were a huge hit for my parent volunteers! I hope you like! :)  Happy June!
