The Important Book

The important thing about being incapacitated is that
you get to work on your blog.

You can watch a lot of HGTV and other home improvement shows.  When you're thirsty, your husband has to bring you a big glass of ice water without complaining.  You can spend the entire day in your pajamas and eat ice cream without feeling guilty.  If you're feeling really motivated, you can make new products for your TPT store or even balance your checkbook (except you probably won't do that because you're already kind of tortured.)
You can cuddle with your cat, too.

But the important thing about being incapacitated is that you get to work on your blog.

In honor of my recent injury AND in honor of The Important Book by Margaret Wise Brown, one of my staple beginning of year books, I've attached a great freebie!

I hang this one up for Back to School Night.  It doesn't take too long for the kids to finish and they end up writing really cute stuff about themselves.  They can also draw a portrait in the middle.  Just make sure you print it on LEGAL paper. :)

  1. I like to use this book at Christmas time, or spring, or any other change of season. It's a great book to teach pattern writing.
