Your girl for all seasons

Hi everybody! I hope you're enjoying the start of November and the beginning of the holiday season. October seemed like it would never end - but of course, it did (like always, I suppose!)

I'm finished with my trimester one report cards and conferences and I'm gearing up to get my second trimester rolling.  Thank goodness for a much-needed Monday off tomorrow.

I've been doing a bit of digital organizing and I came across a project I did with my firsties in 2010 when we learned about seasons.  After teaching the season cycle of (deciduous) trees, students wrote a fact or two about what happens to trees during each season.  Essentially, we created the board together throughout the unit! So fun!

I created some masters and made a product for TPT with (almost) all you need to do this great board yourself.

Here's a closer look at the trees:

Forgive my old-school, handwritten signs! This project was made before I was so PowerPoint savvy. ;)

If seasons are on your schedule this year, I'd love for you to check out the product!

Happy Veterans Day! I am thankful for those who served and still serve our country.  God Bless America!

  1. That's a great looking board. I always mean to do seasonal trees and for some reason it gets away from me every year. I'm going to pin this so I don't forget:)
