iRing in the New Year! Freebie

It's late here in Cali, but I know to strike while the iron is hot!

Looking for a fun New Year activity for your second graders (or whatever graders)? ;)

Here's a fun project/bulletin board/writing activity to help ease back into the teaching.

It's called, "iRing in the New Year!"

I don't go back until the 7th, so yes, this is my own version.  I fully admit that my second grade class will have much better ideas and cuter artwork on this new year's project!  And let's admit it, I'm sure no one will share my imaginary second grade goals.  But a girl can dream.

What they do: Students write their goals inside the four 'Apps' on the iPhone.  Then they can decorate the phone and then you mount on construction paper.  I made one with preprinted app names and one blank in case some of your kiddos have their own app ideas.

For some younger kiddos, you can just have them draw a picture.  So fun, right??

Go ahead and snatch this cute printable here:

Good luck to all who are returning to the classroom this week!
